My husband and I relocated to Winter Springs, Florida in 2025 after I had lived in South Florida my whole life. I’ve been teaching piano for over 30 years, and I’m eager to continue sharing my love of music and expertise with students in this area.
I earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree, magna cum laude, from Florida State University, with piano as my principal instrument. I began my career teaching high school choral music, and then moved to middle school. My choral groups consistently received high ratings from the judges at assessment events. I later had a wonderful experience as a pre-school music teacher.
When my children were very young, I left the classroom and began to teach private piano and voice lessons in my home. My students have ranged in age from 6-year-olds to adults. I have loved getting to know each student and encouraging them in their musical growth.
As a member of Florida State Music Teachers Association, Central Florida Music Teachers Association, and Florida Federation of Music Clubs, I’m able to offer valuable performance and adjudication opportunities to my students.
